A Curve - The loveliest distance between two points.
This #morning sunshine…
Unfair isn’t it, that days full of so much sadness and ache have such blue sky above them x
A great soul gifted me this book years and years ago. He said I was to keep it at home and learn the first few on any available surface. If I liked them, which he was sure I would, he’d see what he could do about sorting out a new full kit for the department. After years of Piano and before years of Tenor Sax, he reckoned this was probably the thing I’d love best. He was right. I’m not sure I have ever met someone with such bright light and constant faith in human beings and their ability to create and make sound and life better. He helped my heart start a life long and only true love and ensured I kept sane when all around was a wreck. He became a true friend. I could never say thank you for all the beautiful things I saw and heard because of him. My heart aches for him and his. And the knowledge that this world has lost something so magnificent and that his light won’t forever at first hand make good other lucky lucky human lives. Not very eloquent but what a beautifully groovy love x
